Yggdrasil became Adjarabet partner
Press service of Swedish company Yggdrasil Gaming which develops and supplies games for gambling operators announced signing a new partners agreement with Georgian online games operator Adjarabet.
According to the terms of the deal, the Swedish games supplier will present exclusive game case for the Georgian gambling operator. Adjarabet will also receive such products as \”BRAG”, \”BOOST” and \”Missions” from its digital partner.
Tom Hutchinson, Head of Casino at Adjarabet claimed that the signed agreement allows significantly widen the range of games for our clients, who now are able to play high-quality products by the company Yggdrasil.
Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming noticed the importance of the agreement that allowed the developer to enter fast growing market of Georgia.
The Portuguese regulator issued the seventh license for online operating
Gambling regulator from Portugal issued the seventh license allowing to offer gambling in digital space. As Calvin Ayre informs, the new license owner is the company Sociedade Figueira Praia.
As the aforementioned online magazine writes, now Portugal gas three legally operating companies (Bet Entertainment Technologies, BetClic Everest Group and the new one), which supply online games to the local population via their brands.
Let us remind you that Portugal launched the regulated online gambling market in May 2016, but gambling companies don’t rush to get license from the local regulator as gambling taxes in the country are very high. For instance, taxes for online poker are at 15-30%.
Starting on July, 17th the government of Slovakia will start blocking web sites of illegal bookmakers
The government of Slovakia start to apply firm methods of fighting with illegal gambling operators which service locals. Since the middle of the month the sportsbook blocking campaign starts.
The authorities have published a decree, according to which the list of companies operating illegally in Slovakia will be made and all these web sites will be blocked starting on July, 17th.
Let us remind you that last year Slovakia accepted new gambling laws. According to it, each sportsbook and operator working in the state have to get license from local gambling regulator and pay taxes of 27% from net profit.
